St Albans and Harpenden Christian Education Project (STEP) uses high quality people and excellent resources to train and equip local volunteers to make a positive impact in a variety of ways on the lives of young people in St Albans and Harpenden.
They seek to make young lives better by providing practical and emotional support where needed, and giving young people opportunities to be active citizens in their local community.
STEP's actual contribution to secondary schools are myriad. Ranging from Transition Days with new students, lessons assemblies, clubs, courses, mentoring, themed weeks, Retreat Days, trips and project, all the way through to activities and workshops helping sixth formers think through leaving school as they head to university or the world of work.
