Holiday at Home

I have had such a lovely two days and was very impressed with the food and number of activities provided.  It has given me back some confidence.  (a 2016 Guest)

We are used to hearing about holiday clubs for children, but what about the more mature members of our community?

Everyone needs something to look forward to. It’s lovely to go on holiday but sometimes we just want to stay in our own bed! This is where ‘Holiday at Home’ fits in.

In the life and mission of Marlborough Road and Hatfield Road Methodist Churches, older members of the church family matter. We want everyone to enjoy a time of fun, friendship and renewal - a holiday atmosphere backed by prayer.

This year we are arranging an interesting range of entertainment and activities.
Take the opportunity to try your hand at something new.

With good company, we can guarantee there will be lots more fun and laughter.

Hope to see you there!

If you would like to meet with friends and share in a time of fun and laughter  without the hassle of going away, then we are sure you will enjoy a Holiday at Home

We hope there will be something for everyone from crafts, board games, puzzles, gentle exercise and stimulating talks, to simply a chance to chat and relax.
