St Albans and Welwyn Methodist Circuit

Movement in Worship

On Saturday 11th May 2019 Sherrelea Weber will guide us through a journey of worship through art, on a giant floor-canvas, where you can paint with a paintbrush ... or become the paintbrush yourself.
There is something profound about playing, and painting the God-colours, that opens us up to God’s ministry. There is also something quite challenging about letting go of our Britishness and being prepared to get mucky for God. Through the workshop, we will progress from being tame to being adventurous, painting with brushes, fingers, toes, then literally moving in the paint.
When: Saturday 11th May 2019 10am to 1pm
Where: City Church, Unity Works, Lyon Way St. Albans AL4 0LB (if using a SatNav, please continue driving past the "destination", to the end of the road).
Cost: £10 per person, pay cash on the door.
Please bring clothes that don’t mind being forever marked with paint. We aim to have lunch together afterwards, so please bring lunch with you.
Please reply (or email watford@miworg.uk) to let us know you are coming, or to ask questions.
